Dave Johnson, community leader and longtime Noblesville resident is running for Noblesville City Council, District 5. Dave has lived in District 5 for 40 years.
Dave has been a pillar of service in the Noblesville community. He was named Noblesville Chamber of Commerce’s Volunteer of the Year and is a past Board Member, has been a part of Noblesville Schools Miller Ambassador Program, has served as a Noblesville Boys & Girls Club Meals for Members volunteer, Noblesville Lacrosse Club President, a youth travel soccer coach, and involved in Boys Scouts of America.
In addition to his community work, Dave’s city involvement will be key in leading on the City Council. Johnson is currently President of the has been on the city’s Economic Development Board, and past president of the Police Merit Commission, Prevailing Wage Board, Hamilton County Riverwalk Board, and on the Hamilton County Solid Waste Board.
Dave is a licensed professional geologist whose practice focuses on environmental site investigation and remediation. Dave's career started with AMAX Coal Company, where he served as a Manager focusing on property development for 16 years. In 1992, he founded his own company, Indiana Engineering and Geological Services, and later rebranded it as Stony Creek Environmental.
Dave is a family man, married to his wife of 46 years, Michele, and has lived in Wellington Northeast for 40 years. They have raised two children, both attended Noblesville Schools. Their family attends Faith Community Church, where they also volunteer.
In his free time, Dave participates in his 5 grandchildren’s activities, enjoys fly fishing on the White River and serves as a volunteer at the Noblesville Boys and Girls Club. Additionally, Dave is active with the Noblesville Lacrosse Club and the Michael Treinen Foundation organizing the Thanksgiving Morning Turkey Trot bringing over 2,000 runners and walkers to downtown Noblesville to increase awareness and raise money for children and their families battling childhood cancer.
